Software Developer

About the Role

As a Software Developer at LNM1968, you'll create tools and applications for geospatial data processing, automate workflows, develop web applications for data visualization, and build custom solutions for mapping projects. You'll work with Python, C++, JavaScript, and APIs to enhance productivity and capabilities.

This role requires strong programming skills, understanding of geospatial concepts, and ability to translate operational needs into software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software tools for geospatial data processing
• Create automation scripts for workflow efficiency
• Build web applications for data visualization
• Integrate with GIS and CAD software APIs
• Develop database solutions and ETL processes
• Maintain and enhance existing software systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years software development experience
• Proficiency with Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with Git and version control
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with geospatial libraries (GDAL, GeoPandas)
• Web development skills (React, Node.js)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) experience
• Understanding of surveying or mapping workflows
