Process aerial imagery and photogrammetry data to create orthophotos, 3D models, DEMs, and planimetric features for mapping and engineering projects.

About the Role

As a Photogrammetrist at LNM1968, you'll process aerial and drone imagery using photogrammetry software to produce orthophotos, digital surface models, 3D meshes, and planimetric feature extraction. You'll work with Structure from Motion (SfM) workflows and traditional photogrammetric processes to create high-accuracy mapping products.

This position requires expertise in photogrammetry principles, image processing software, and understanding of accuracy requirements for mapping deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process aerial imagery using photogrammetry software
  • Generate orthophotos, DSMs, and DTMs
  • Perform aerial triangulation and bundle adjustment
  • Extract planimetric features from imagery
  • Create 3D models and point clouds from photos
  • Conduct quality control and accuracy assessments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Photogrammetry, Geomatics, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in digital photogrammetry
  • Proficiency with Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, or similar software
  • Understanding of ASPRS positional accuracy standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Photogrammetrist (CP) credential
  • Experience with traditional photogrammetric workstations
  • Knowledge of LiDAR and point cloud processing
  • Programming skills for workflow automation
