About the Role

As a Geospatial Analyst at LNM1968, you'll work with diverse geospatial datasets including LiDAR, orthoimagery, bathymetry, and survey data to perform spatial analysis, create maps, and develop GIS databases. You'll support engineering, environmental, and planning projects with technical analysis and cartographic products.

This position requires strong GIS skills, analytical abilities, and experience working with multiple data formats and coordinate systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform spatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro or QGIS
  • Create maps, figures, and visualizations for reports
  • Develop and maintain GIS databases
  • Process and integrate LiDAR and imagery data
  • Conduct terrain analysis and viewshed studies
  • Support environmental and infrastructure assessments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in GIS and spatial analysis
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro or QGIS
  • Strong cartography and map design skills
  • Experience with coordinate systems and projections

Preferred Skills

  • GISP certification
  • Python scripting for GIS automation
  • Experience with PostGIS or spatial databases
  • Knowledge of remote sensing principles
