About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer at LNM1968, you'll work with advanced sensor systems, power distribution, and electronic equipment for marine vessels, aircraft sensor platforms, and ground-based survey equipment. You'll design electrical systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure reliable power and data transmission for mission-critical equipment.

This role requires expertise in marine electrical systems, sensor integration, and knowledge of survey equipment power requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for survey vessels and sensor platforms
  • Integrate LiDAR, sonar, and positioning system electronics
  • Troubleshoot power distribution and grounding issues
  • Design and test data acquisition and control systems
  • Ensure EMI/EMC compliance for sensitive equipment
  • Prepare electrical schematics and system documentation
  • Support field installations and system commissioning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years experience in electrical system design
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools
  • Knowledge of marine or aviation electrical standards
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience with survey equipment integration
  • Knowledge of NMEA protocols and marine electronics
  • PLC programming experience
