About the Role

As a Database Administrator at LNM1968, you'll manage SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and other database systems storing geospatial data, project information, and business data. You'll ensure performance, reliability, security, and implement backup/recovery procedures for mission-critical databases.

This role requires database expertise, understanding of spatial databases, and ability to optimize systems handling large geospatial datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases
  • Optimize database performance and query efficiency
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Design database schemas for spatial data storage

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 3+ years database administration experience
  • Proficiency with SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Strong SQL and database optimization skills
  • Experience with backup and recovery procedures

  • Experience with PostGIS and spatial databases
  • Database certifications (Microsoft, Oracle)
