Civil Engineer

About the Role

As a Civil Engineer at LNM1968, you'll leverage high-resolution LiDAR data and survey information to support infrastructure design, grading plans, drainage studies, and civil engineering analyses. You'll work with Civil 3D, develop engineering plans, and prepare technical reports for transportation, municipal, and development projects.

This position requires expertise in civil design software, understanding of surveying data, and ability to translate geospatial information into engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop grading and drainage plans using survey data
• Create Civil 3D models from LiDAR point clouds
• Conduct earthwork calculations and cut/fill analyses
• Design roadways, utilities, and site improvements
• Prepare construction plans and technical specifications
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
• Coordinate with project managers and survey teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3+ years experience in civil design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Understanding of survey data and topographic mapping
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater design

Preferred Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with LiDAR data and point cloud processing
• HEC-RAS or similar hydraulic modeling software
• Transportation engineering experience
